Special "Self-Care Appreciation" Summer Services/Offerings

$75.00 / 1 Hour Oil Massage and Shirodhara Therapy

We start with the abhyanga style of oil massage, so the therapeutic oils absorb deeply into all the layers of the skin/joints/muscles, during the oil pouring.  Each session also includes a rebalancing technique, to quiet the mind and relax the body. We will incorporate sound healing, using tuning forks. Each session uses 1-2 liters of pure 100% sunflower oil, infused with brain nourishing herbs like Brahmi (good for soothing the nervous system) and Amla (good for hair growth and strengthening). We will use a variety of uplifting therapeutic essential oils like Frankincense, Cedarwood, Lavender, Calming Blends with Ylang Ylang.  Eucalyptus is applied to the sinus areas and chest for better oxygenation, deep belly breathing and clearing.  Thousands of nerve endings are at the navel.  We will apply Castor Oil to the navel area, for an extra whole body nourishing.  Receiving this rejuvenating treatment weekly is a great way to replace time spent on entertainment and incorporate more habits of self-care, which leads to more authenticity, health and true joy.  Receiving consecutive days of treatments is also a powerful rejuvenation of mind/body/soul and a wonderful preventative approach to health and happiness.

*Special Note* This treatment can also be received in comfortable clothing and the only oil massage will be of the feet and scalp, which will allow for a longer Shirodhara Oil Pour.

“Sneha” means both “to oil” and “to love”.  In Sanskrit, the word for “to oil” is “sneha” which also means “to love.” During Shirodhara, you are literally being bathed in oil and in love, so keep this in mind as you move through the next few days. Notice when you feel love and notice how you can incorporate more love into your life. You may feel like you are immersed in love and support for days after, so take time to cultivate gratitude. These Ayurvedic practices are important to help you come back to balance and remember who you are and why you’re here. When you feel love for yourself, you can bring that into the world around you and encourage your friends, family, students, and clients to do the same.

$60.00 / 1 Hour Session for Greater Well-Being

These sessions will utilize a variety of healing modalities.  True healing should be shifting our perception towards making more positive and authentic changes.  Some modalities used are within the BodyTalk System, Mindscape, Craniosacral, Foot Reflexology, Mapping the Healing Process, Breakthrough, Polarity, Oneness/Empathy, etc.  We will discuss topics that are essential for human health and well-being.  These sessions will address a more priority based system of healing, depending on the unique needs of the individual for each particular session.  We are Human BEINGS and Beingness holds the key to our "intrinsic worth" where we can be relaxed within ourselves and not "needing" to prove anything.  Beingness/Bliss is essential for Well-Being.

Positive Human Touch is as important as Food/Water/Shelter for Human Survival

Therapeutic human touch is a physiological necessity for emotional regulation, stress reduction, and immune function. Extensive research shows physical contact actively regulates the nervous system by lowering cortisol and triggering the release of oxytocin and serotonin to counter depression and anxiety.

The necessity of deliberate human touch operates on both psychological and biological levels:

Why It's Biologically Necessary

  • Nervous System Regulation: Gentle touch stimulates specific nerve fibers in the skin (CT afferent fibers) that send signals directly to the brain's emotional center.

  • Stress Hormone Reduction: Studies confirm touch therapy heavily reduces levels of cortisol (the stress hormone).

  • Pain & Mood Management: Meta-analyses show tactile interventions significantly decrease reported feelings of pain, anxiety, and depression in adults.

  • Immune & Developmental Health: Caring contact strengthens immune function and is critical for healthy development and weight gain in newborns.

Therapeutic Modalities

When natural social contact is lacking, structured interventions can fulfill this biological need:

  • Massage Therapy: One of the most studied and effective physical modalities for decreasing stress responses and relieving pain.

  • Somatic Therapy: Body-centered practices that incorporate touch to help process trauma and release tension stored in the body.

  • Healing/Therapeutic Touch: Energy-based or gentle touch therapies used in nursing to soothe patients, reduce anxiety, and promote a sense of security.

The Preference for Real Connection

While technology and modern lifestyles have increasingly isolated people, research comparing touch methods shows that non-human touch (like robots or objects) is significantly less effective at improving mental health than genuine human interaction.

"It is clearly unique in this day and age to find a system of medicine that is thousands of years old and still one of the largest on the planet today.  Ayurvedic medicine, although in its infancy here in America, has over 300,000 Indian doctors in the All Indian Ayurvedic Congress, making it the largest medical organizations in the world."

- Dr. John Couillard

Shirodhara is an ancient mind-melting warm oil therapy rooted in Ayurvedic concepts that give rise to elevated consciousness, expanded awareness, blissful sleep and healing for the entire mind-body-soul paradigm. Ayurveda is a time-proven, evidence-based holistic medical system of self-healing. This is potentially one of the most “spiritually awakening” therapies on the planet. It raises consciousness, bliss, peace, removes stress and so much more.

This ancient therapy enlivens the innate intelligence that lives in every cell in our body. It is a mind-melting experience, where it clears away negative thoughts by dispersing the negative electrical impulses that accumulate at our foreheads from overthinking and stress. It is one of the only therapies that assists in raising consciousness, allowing for spiritual and cellular activations within the physiology.

Key Notes of Spirituality:

Spirituality is a personal quest for meaning, purpose, and connection to something larger than the ego. While highly individualized, it generally revolves around specific inner practices, core values, and an outward orientation toward the world.

Key characteristics of spirituality include:

  • Search for Meaning: An ongoing exploration of life's deeper questions, including one's purpose, the nature of suffering, and existential concepts.

  • Interconnectedness: A deep, empathetic understanding that all beings and elements of the universe are fundamentally linked.

  • Compassion and Empathy: A strong focus on acting with kindness, forgiveness, tolerance, and a selfless desire to reduce suffering in others.

  • Transcendence: The ability to look beyond the ego and material possessions, often experiencing feelings of awe, wonder, or connection to the sacred.

  • Inner Peace and Well-being: Cultivating emotional resilience, contentment, and mindfulness to achieve a harmonious state of mind.

Unlike organized religion, which often involves structured, communal doctrines and rituals, spirituality can be strictly personal and is not defined by strict adherence to a specific dogma

Bonus Videos/Articles for Deeper Awakening and Blissfulness!
Hello Friends!!  This section is just a bonus offering of extremely wise content to further our bliss, empowerment, and  pure positive focus on solutions to problems. True Healing, Wholeness, Oneness, and Bliss does require us to "un-gaslight ourselves personally and globally". I am going to share some of what I have found that sheds light on these issues.  Once we identify a problem (unwanted thing), we can then start using our creativity to figure out the solution (wanted thing).  Once we do this, then we need to put all our focus and energy into the solution.  I feel Teal Swan is bringing out the most needed compassionate teachings and dynamic action, in helping humanity understand the problems within history, our current day problems, and "The New Vision/Solutions"!  Teal points out that life IS relationships.  How men and women relate to each other.  How we relate to the earth, animals, plants, and trees.  How we relate to children.  How we relate to our self.  How we relate to our job, home, etc.

"Humans are a tribal, community based species.  It is encoded in their DNA.  For thousands of years human survival depended upon each other.  I could not even list all the negative things that have been born from the idea of ownership, especially property ownership.  Think the caste system, think the British monarchy, think colonialism, think The Trail of Tears, think the battle over the Gaza Strip, think gangs, think of a single mother trying to raise her children and work a full time job alone.  Think WAR.  The suppression of the feminine is actually the result of property ownership.  Once people owned land, it was crucial to have a successor and because of that, it was crucial to claim the female who would bring forth that successor and consider her as well as your offspring as “yours”.  For the sake of this blog, let’s focus on  a byproduct of property ownership... The idea of the single family home. People were never “supposed” to live in isolated units.  It is contrary to their health and to their happiness to have broken off into smaller and smaller groups.  As the modern world progresses, a chokehold of isolation and loneliness is sweeping the world.  We become more and more segregated from each other.  Divided, we are weak.  We are susceptible to outside control, including government control when we are divided like we are.  We are desperate for community. It takes a village to raise a child.  This is in fact how children are supposed to be raised… By a village.  I am not going to tread lightly and say that it’s better to raise a child in a healthy community.  I’m going to say it is crucial to raise a child in a healthy community if you want to give a child a shot at being healthy on all levels." - Teal Swan (Excerpts from, "To Own" (Article)

"To contain a woman, in this context, is to actively (not passively) create a safe space of wellbeing for her. The healthy masculine energy creates a container in which the feminine can truly exist and thrive.  To do this, a man must take positive ownership of a woman.  Many people have a negative association with ownership.  This is because they ‘threw out the baby with the bathwater’ relative to ownership. The reality is that a woman actually wants to feel owned.  She just doesn’t want to feel oppressed, controlled, looked down on or limited.  And these are all things she’s been taught to associate with ownership. When a man fails to provide containment for a woman, she ends up feeling like she has to do it all herself and fend for herself. This means, a male who lacks the skill of containment inevitably makes a woman feel like she is all alone.  Not just all alone, also unsafe, starved of needs and as if all the pressure is on her.  This will make a woman become controlling, anxious, hard, cold, masculine, bitter, angry and resentful.  It will cause her mental, emotional and physical health to corrode.  Many men create a way better container for the car they drive than the woman they are in a relationship with.In order for men to contain women to the best of their abilities, they’ve got to put energy into trying to understand women in general.  In order for you to contain a specific woman to the best of your abilities, you must understand that specific woman." Excerpts from the article "Masculine Containment", by Teal Swan

"Our world will not change and people will not begin thriving until we are willing to re-sensitize ourselves. We must start with ourselves. We need to be willing to feel life and make adjustments to society as a result of really feeling it. It is painful to feel this world in its current state. But it is more painful to spend your life running from feeling the state of the world. To do so, is to run from and abandon yourself. You will find that suffering is not the result of feeling pain; it is the result of resisting feeling pain. The world will remain as brutal as our level of desensitization to its brutality." - Teal Swan (Resensitization Article)

We must remember this relationship advice is to be applied to each other, our children, the political arena, our pets and animals, our car, our home, etc.  Learning to see the needs of all parties involved and being patient, communicative, and oriented towards finding win/win solutions!
